Available Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm, and on Saturdays & Sundays 12pm - 4pm. Saying goodbye to a cherished companion is one of the most difficult moments in life. Our at-home euthanasia service offers a peaceful, dignified, and gentle way for your pet to pass surrounded by the comfort and familiarity of home. We will visit you at a time that suits your family, providing compassionate veterinary care in a calm and loving environment where your pet feels safe and relaxed. During the visit, we will explain the process clearly, answer any questions, and support you through every step with kindness and respect. Our priority is to ensure your pet’s final moments are as peaceful and pain-free as possible, honouring the unique bond you share. Choosing in-home euthanasia means no stressful travel or unfamiliar places just the warmth of home and the presence of loved ones. What to Expect - A pre-visit telephone consultation to discuss your pet’s condition and answer questions (optional but recommended) - Arrival at your home at a scheduled time convenient for you - A calm, gentle procedure conducted with the utmost respect for your pet’s comfort - Time to say goodbye with your family present - Guidance on aftercare options, including cremation or burial After Your Pet Has Passed We understand this is a deeply emotional moment, and we want you to feel prepared for what may happen after your beloved pet has passed away. These are natural physical changes and do not mean your pet is in distress: - Agonal Breathing: Some pets may take occasional reflex breaths after passing. This is a normal part of the body’s process. - Muscle Movements: Gentle twitching, trembling, or small movements may occur as the muscles relax. - Loss of Bodily Functions: It is common for the bladder or bowels to empty as the body relaxes. Our team will be there to support you through this time with sensitivity and care, ensuring your pet is treated with the utmost dignity.
